Sometimes depression and anxiety can be biologically based and medications may be needed to allow a client to stabilize, which can facilitate more effective participation in treatment and in life. In such cases, a medication evaluation will be recommended with a local psychiatrist.

Often, our mind will cope with overwhelming stress by dissociation. Our work will help to integrate split off parts of the self while acknowledging your strengths in surviving and thriving in the world.
Mindfulness skills training, bilbiotherapy, journaling, and other approaches may be utilized as appropriate.
